I Just Love...

my grandson. He is the light of my life and my pride and joy! I look forward in seeing him every Friday and can't wait to get home to see him. Pops has been picking him at daycare for the last couple of months and when I walk into the house, I hear him yelling, "Nanna, Nanna!" and he comes running into my arms.

Today, we went shopping at Wal-Mart and I bought him another toy that was of course Cars. Is there anything else?? This child is so into that movie. He eats and sleeps Cars. And about all we watch from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon is the Cars movie. The child actually knows the lines from the movie and most of the songs (and he is 2.5 years old).

The other thing we did today was had his picture made. We went to a studio and they do old-time photos. They furnish the clothes and they had us put Bryce in overalls and a white shirt and to take off his socks and shoes. The first background was Bryce standing by an old bicycle and he also had on a newsboy's cap. Bryce wanted to sit on that bike so bad. The next shot was him sitting on an old rocking horse. In this one, the photographer added a red bandana around Bryce's neck and he also had on a cowboy hat. Of course these shots came out wonderful. The next set he had Bryce sitting on an old suitcase, ball cap on, an old mitt laying in his lap, and one hand on the bat and the other hand holding the baseball. And the last set he had Bryce holding an old fishing pole and it had a wooden fish attached to it. Bryce wasn't sure about this one. He didn't like the fish. We finally got him to realize that it wasn't real. Anyhoo, all of the pictures turned out so good. The hard part is going to be in deciding which pictures to get as I can't afford to get them all. I will post them once we get them next week.

Well, it is 11:00 and he still isn't asleep. I don't understand why as he is usually asleep by 9:30. I guess we won't be going to early service for church in the morning.
